1. Scope and responsibility

This Privacy Policy explains how Edutecka collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the platform.

The service is operated by Edutecka. For privacy and data protection questions, contact suporte@edutecka.com from your account email.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Edutecka, we may process:

• Account, identity and contact information, including registration, login, verification and support details.
• Orders, payments, entitlements, courses, certificates, events, wallet and AI credit activity.
• Messages, prompts, feedback, files and attachments that you choose to send to support, the ED assistant or an editor.
• Seller, catalogue, payout and content-submission information when you publish or sell through the platform.
• Calendar integration data when you connect a Google or Zoom account: account name and email, OAuth access tokens, synced agenda events, meeting links and connection status.
• Technical and security information such as IP address, device, browser, session, timestamps, logs and abuse signals.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Create and secure accounts, authenticate users and provide purchased or requested services.
• Process orders, payments, access rights, credits, refunds, support requests and seller operations.
• Operate the ED assistant, search, translation, editor and design-generation features requested by the user.
• Sync your agenda with connected Google or Zoom calendars and create or manage the meeting links you request.
• Improve reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate incidents and comply with legal obligations.
• Send transactional communications and, where permitted, relevant service or marketing communications with available opt-out controls.

4. AI and automated processing

When you use an AI feature, the relevant prompt, selected files, context and technical usage data may be processed to produce the requested result, measure usage and protect the service.

Public assistant requests are designed to use public information. Authenticated features may use only account information that the backend authorises for the signed-in user. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, confidential secrets or sensitive information that is not necessary for the requested task.

AI providers and infrastructure partners may process limited data on Edutecka’s behalf. Their processing is subject to the applicable service arrangements and privacy terms. AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate or unique.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share the minimum information needed with hosting, storage, email, communications, payment, authentication, analytics, security and AI service providers that help operate Edutecka.

When you connect Google or Zoom, those providers receive only the scoped access you authorize during sign-in, limited to the calendar and meeting features you use. Disconnecting an account in Connections removes the stored access and stops synchronization; you can also revoke the grant at any time in your Google or Zoom account settings.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, to investigate fraud or abuse, or during a business transfer such as a merger or asset sale. We do not sell personal information as a product.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements and meet legal or operational requirements.

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and risk. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your credentials and report suspected incidents promptly.

7. Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of personal information held about you.

Some records cannot be deleted immediately when they are needed for a transaction, fraud prevention, dispute, security investigation or legal obligation. Contact suporte@edutecka.com and describe the request and account email.

8. Children and international services

Edutecka does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the general platform. If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted information, contact us so we can review it.

Some providers may process information in countries different from the user’s country. We will use appropriate contractual, technical or organisational measures required for the applicable service and law.

9. Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Profile settings, which removes your account data subject to the retention needs described above. Disconnecting a Google or Zoom account deletes its stored tokens and stops synchronization.

To request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information, write to suporte@edutecka.com from your account email describing the request. We respond after verifying that the request comes from the account holder.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the platform, providers, law or processing activities change. The latest version will show its effective date and will be available on this page.
